Yerik Utembayev still dismissed from post of ambassador to Uzbekistan

Astana. January 22. KazTAG - Yerik Utembayev who worked as an ambassador of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan until October last year, is still in dismissed from his duty, said Aibek Smadyarov, official spokesman of the Foreign Ministry  of Kazakhstan.
"Yes, by the order of the President he is temporarily dismissed from his duty. All the plenipotentiary and extraordinary ambassadors of Kazakhstan can be dismissed only by the President's order. Investigation is underway now. I cannot voice the details. He is in Astana," he said.
He said minister-councilor is acting as an ambassador of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan.
As it was reported, Utembayev is suspected of embezzlement on a large scale.
