Zelensky accused CEC of delaying announcement of election results
Almaty. April 26. KazTAG - The winner of the presidential elections in Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has accused the Central Election Commission of delaying the announcement of the election results, Unian reports.
"President elect of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has accused the Central Election Commission of delaying the announcement of election results," reads the message.
According to the politician, the delay is to ensure that the inauguration takes place after May 27 and according to the law he will have no right dissolve the Verkhovna Rada.
“Very funny things are happening now. There is a victory, but no authority,” said the winner of the presidential election.
In his opinion, delaying the announcement of the election results is done because after May 27, according to the law, he will not have the right to dissolve Parliament.
“I believe it is unfair. The president, to whom over 73% people trust, should have the right to think about it and have this opportunity. The system is afraid of this. It means one thing - we will win , ” said Zelensky.
