“I wanted to humiliate and insult her too. I knew this. She told me about this right after the wedding. And here I just wanted to take revenge on her too. She psychologically tortured me for 6.5 hours, did whatever she wanted, and brought me to this state,” Bishimbayev said during the trial on Wednesday.
The victims’ side asked Bishimbayev why he constantly stopped recording the video and why new blood stains appeared on Nukenova’s body.
“In my opinion, between 6:43 and 6:45, 6:48, no new injuries appeared on her,” the defendant said.
The victim's lawyer, Zhanna Urazbakhova, drew the court's attention to the fact that in one of the videos, Nukenova is sitting on her knees on the floor in the VIP room and blood is smeared on her knees. However, by the time her body was discovered, by the time a photo table was compiled from the scene of the incident, there was no smeared blood.
“I wiped off that blood, when she went to bed, I put her to bed. There is a napkin there. I wiped off her blood with a napkin that was found there,” Bishimbayev explained.
