“Within the framework of the 41st session of the Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization, a legal framework was created for the regular flights between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Maldives. Previously, due to the lack of a legal framework between countries, only charter flights were operated. From the side of the Maldives, the document was signed by the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Ms. Aishat Nakhula, from the Kazakhstan side, by the Chairman of the CAA, Talgat Lastayev,” the statement said.
The agreement provides for the possibility of performing seven regular flights a week for each side.
