Kazakhstan is ready to build social facility in disaster zone in Turkey - Tokayev

Astana. March 17. KazTAG - Kazakhstan is ready to build a social facility in the disaster zone in Turkey, said  Kassym-Jomart Tokayev , President of Kazakhstan.
“Today we have met in Ankara in connection with the devastating earthquake, which turned to be a real tragedy for fraternal Turkey and claimed thousands of human lives. I want to once again express my condolences to the families and friends of the victims, as well as to the entire Turkish people. I believe that the tragedy of Turkey, which suffered from a devastating earthquake, is the tragedy of all Turkic people. The Kazakhs have a saying, "grief shared gets smaller." Our people have never stood aside when loved ones were going through hard times,” Tokayev said an extraordinary summit of the Organization of Turkic States entitled “Emergency Management and Humanitarian Aid”.
He noted that the people of Kazakhstan immediately extended a helping hand to the Turkish brothers.
“Rescuers and doctors immediately left for Turkey. The most experienced, qualified specialists, equipped with the necessary equipment, were involved in the search and rescue operations. The fraternal country was provided with humanitarian and financial assistance. The devastating earthquake did not leave indifferent our citizens, who supported the fraternal Turkish people in trouble. The Kazakhs have a good tradition of Asar. Together people lend a helping hand to those in need. Many volunteers from Kazakhstan responded, came to Turkey and worked tirelessly. These are real patriots and people with a big soul,” the head of state added.
