Kazakhstan paid more than T95 billion in child care benefits H1

Astana. April 23. KazTAG -  Payments for child care up to one and a half years old increased by 1.8 times – to KZT94.9 billion in 2024,reports the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan.
“For three months of 2024, this payment was assigned to 67 thousand people, its monthly average amount was KZT79,106. The payment was made in the amount of KZT94.9 billion, which is almost 1.8 times more than for the same period in 2023,” the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan said in a statement.
This monthly social payment is assigned to a participant in the social insurance system from the date of birth of the child in the amount of 40% of the average monthly income from which social contributions were made to the State Social Insurance Fund over the past two years.
