Kazakhstan’s share in total exports of petrochemicals in the EDB region is more than 22%

Almaty. April 17. KazTAG – Kazakhstan’s share in the total export of petrochemicals in the region of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) is 22.5%, said Aset Adakhaev, senior analyst of the EDB Analytical Directorate.
“The potential volume of exports of petrochemical products from the Eurasian region by 2035 can reach more than 7 million tons under the inertial scenario, and more than 10 million tons under the target scenario. The main exporters of the Eurasian region: Russia and Kazakhstan. Russia’s share in the region’s total exports is 65.6%, Kazakhstan’s share is 22.5%,” Adakhaev said at the presentation of the report entitled “Petroleum and gas chemical industry of Eurasia: prospects for deepening processing”.
According to him, the potential growth in exports of petrochemical products in the region will be 3.2 times.
