“A mudslide with a volume of 10 cubic meters came down near one of the houses in the Medeu district of Almaty. There were no casualties or damage. The preliminary reason: heavy rainfall and waterlogging of the soil,” the report said.
According to the State Institution “Kazselezaschita” of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, there is a possibility of repeated landslide processes in this area.
