100 thousand barrels of oil per day produced at Kashagan - Ministry of Energy

Astana. August 12. KazTAG - Approximately 100 thousand barrels of oil per day are produced at Kashagan, reports  the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.
“ Bolat Akchulakov, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan arrived on a working trip to the Atyrau region on August 11, 2022. The working trip began with a visit to the production facilities of the North Caspian Project (NCOC). Representatives of the Ministry, the Akimat of Atyrau Oblast, JSC NC KazMunayGas and NCOC flew around the D island at the Kashagan field. Since the beginning of 2022, 7.2 million tons of oil and 4.4 billion m3 of associated petroleum gas have been produced at Kashagan,” reads the report.
