2019 cases of COVID-19 and pneumonia with signs of CVI recorded in Kazakhstan on May 15-16

Astana. May 17. KazTAG - 2019 cases of COVID-19 (CVI +) and pneumonia with signs of coronavirus infection (CVI-)  have been recorded in Kazakhstan on May 15-16, said the press service of the Ministry of Health.
“CVI +: morbidity - 360 193 (2089 over the past day), mortality - 4073 (19 on May 15) from March 13, 2020 to May 16, 2021; from August 1, 2020 to May 16, 2021 CVI-: morbidity - 54,152 (20 on May 15), mortality - 860 (six on May 15) ", reads the report.
38 888 people continue getting treatment for CVI (38379 CVI + and 509 CVI-), 14,295 patients are in hospitals, and 24593 patients are at the outpatient level.
“820 patients are in serious condition, 185 patients  are in extreme severity, 106 patients are on ventilators (artificial lung ventilation - KazTAG),” said the report.
