Almaty declared as one of cheapest metropolises on inflation rates

Almaty. January 22. KazTAG - Almaty has been declared as one of the cheapest metropolises on the inflation rates, reports The Economist.
"Caracas (Venezuela) has been declared as the cheapest metropolis in the world due to devaluation which resulted in the worst economic and social crisis. Further follow Damascus (Syria), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Bangalore (India)," said the publications.
Almaty has been included into the ranking following several waves of devaluation "due to political and economic instability". The report is based on the prices in the US dollars.
