Astana. March 15. KazTAG - Annual inflation in Kazakhstan climbed to 8.7% in February, said Galymzhan Pirmatov, chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
"Annual inflation accelerated from 8.5% to 8.7% against the backdrop of an increase in the cost of all its components in February," Pirmatov said.
The greatest contribution to inflation is made by food products, whose price growth accelerated to 10% due to the rise in prices for bakery products, cereals, dairy products and vegetables.
