ArcelorMittal Temirtau has changed management

Astana. December 1. KazTAG - ArcelorMittal Temirtau has changed its management.
"Mr. Yablonsky Vladimir Ivanovich has been appointed Acting General Director of JSC ArcelorMittal Temirtau, and Mr. Gafiulov Viktor Viktorovich - Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Mining Department of JSC ArcelorMittal Temirtau with their immediate entry into office," the company's press service reports.
The company claims that it decided to make such changes because of the report of the state commission investigating the accident at the Lenin mine on November 3.
Biju Nair and Gelson Batista have now been appointed as advisors to ArcelorMittal Vice President and ArcelorMittal CIS CEO Vijay Goyal, with immediate inauguration.
"This will allow them to fully focus on the current situation and the investigation of the causes of the accident at the Lenin mine on November 3," the AMT believes.
Yablonsky began his professional career at the Karaganda Iron and Steel Works (now ArcelorMittal Temirtau) in 1989. He has 33 years of experience in the metallurgical industry.
