Authorities declared isolation procedure for people arriving in Kazakhstan from abroad

Astana. May 25. KazTAG - The list of procedures has been introduced for isolation of people arriving in Kazakhstan from abroad, said an official Internet resource on epidemiological situation in Kazakhstan.
“According to the decree people arriving from abroad will be isolated for up to two days in a quarantine hospital. People arriving from EAEU  states and from Uzbekistan by rail and auto crossings will be hospitalized in a quarantine hospital. Persons with signs that do not exclude COVID-19 will be  hospitalized in a provisional hospital, ”said Aizhan Yesmagambetova, chief state sanitary doctor.
If persons arriving from abroad by flights provide a certificate with a negative result of  PCR test, issued no later than five days after the date of crossing the state border are isolated at home for 14 days.
“After receiving the results of a laboratory examination on COVID-19, persons with a positive result are transferred to the infectious diseases hospital for treatment," reads the report.
