Almaty. January 22. KazTAG - At the rallies in support of Alexei Navalny, arrested Russian opposition leader and anti-corruption investigator , which are scheduled for January 23, the authorities may arrange provocations involving children, said Dmitry Muratov, editor-in-chief of Novaya Gazeta.
“Opposition leaders should now declare that children cannot participate in actions,” Muratov said on Thursday on Dozhd TV channel.
He pointed out that videos are circulating on the Internet, in which police officers allegedly rip off their shoulder straps and urge them to participate in rallies in support of Navalny.
"Such a form of clothing (as in the video - KazTAG) does not exist in the existing structures," said the journalist.
In his opinion, political strategists from the authorities may try to involve as many people as possible in the actions in this way, involve a large number of children in the actions and then arrange a "dangerous provocation" with their participation.
In his opinion, immediately after the rallies, the parents of the children who participated in the rallies can file a complaint accusing the opposition leaders of illegally involving children in political actions.
