Chief doctors fired in two regional hospitals following massive infections of employees in Northern Kazakhstan

Petropavlovsk. October 23. KazTAG - Chief doctors have been fired following massive infection of employees  in the North Kazakhstan region.
“Numerous infection cases among the medical workers were recorded in the Akzhar and Mamlyutsk regions,  the sanitary supervisory authorities conducted an analysis, and certain violations of sanitary standards by medical workers were revealed. Therefore, disciplinary measures were applied to the chief doctors, taking into account the previous disciplinary sanctions, their employment contracts were terminated, " said Nurlan Aimanov, deputy head of the health care department of the North Kazakhstan region.
From October 20, by the decision of the interdepartmental commission on  non-proliferation of coronavirus, payments will not be made to medical workers who become infected at work.
“Any infection of a health worker should be perceived as an occupational injury, nosocomial infection. Infection of health workers today should not be in the workplace. In all medical organizations, chief doctors and management must ensure compliance with anti-epidemic sanitary requirements, including the provision of sanitary medical products, including personal protective equipment. Today they have been purchased in sufficient volume, there are good reserves," he said.
