KazTAG had reported that Kazakh children went to Crimea with the consent of their parents. The representative of the Ministry of Education in the comments replied that it was not the department that initiated the competition.
It should be noted that the Crimea is a war zone, and Kazakhstan did not recognize the annexation of the peninsula by Russia, considering it the territory of Ukraine.
