Citizen of Kazakhstan sentenced to 2.5 years imprisonment in South Korea appeals the verdict

Astana. January 14. KazTAG - Sarym Sharibek, citizen of Kazakhstan, sentenced to 2.5 years imprisonment in South Korea for running over a child, has filed an appeal.
"He decided to use his right and filed an appeal," said Aibek Smadyarov, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In his words, the lawyer prepared all the documents and they appealed the verdict.
As it was reported, labour migrant Syrym Sharibek, aged 20, ran over a seven years old boy in South Korea and escaped from the scene on September 16 2019. Later the man was found in Pavlodar, then he voluntarily returned to South Korea.
