"The message was reported on February 26 2020 at 12.38 pm about crash of AN-2 in suburbs of Praporshikovo village and three kilometers from the airport. The plane was rented by the sanitary aviation. Three ambulances arrived to the scene. The plane departed en route Ust-Kamenogorsk-Aksuat to evacuate a seriously ill patient. Five minutes after taking off the plane crashed into deep snow, capsized and caught fire," said the message.
There were five people aboard: three crew members and two medical workers who managed to leave the burning plane.
All the victims were in state of shock.
"Psychological aid was helpful; each person had a psychological consultation which balanced their condition. All the victims were evacuated to the 1st city hospital for further examination," said the message.
