EU Special Envoy on Sanctions will pay visit to Kazakhstan

Astana. June 14. KazTAG – The European Union (EU) International Special Envoy for Sanctions, David O'Sullivan, will pay another visit to Kazakhstan.
“On June 18, the EU International Special Envoy for Sanctions, David O’Sullivan, will pay a visit to Kazakhstan, during which a number of meetings with Kazakh officials are planned,”said the press service of the EU Embassy in Kazakhstan.
O'Sullivan has previously visited Kazakhstan twice as a special envoy.
“The European Commission has established the post of EU International Special Envoy on Sanctions to ensure ongoing high-level discussions with third countries to avoid evading or even circumventing the unprecedented restrictive measures imposed on Russia since the start of the war against Ukraine. David O'Sullivan, former Secretary General of the Commission and senior EU diplomat, has been appointed EU Special Envoy for Sanctions from January 2022.
