Applications from only 3% of businesses affected by floods were considered

Astana. June 25. KazTAG - Applications from just over 3% of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) affected by floods were considered by regional commissions, said Kanat Bozumbayev, Deputy Prime Minister.
“In general, according to preliminary estimates, 797 SMEs worth T24.1 billion were damaged ,” Bozumbayev said at a government meeting on Tuesday.
According to him, the commissions reviewed and approved 124 applications from SMEs for a total amount of about T834 million. These objects are being assessed and estimates are being prepared.
Thus, to date, applications from only slightly more than 3% of SMEs have been considered.
