Inhabitant of Almaty region is suspected of mass forgery of Adidas, Nike and Reebok boots

Taldykorgan. May 25. KazTAG - An inhabitant of the Almaty region is suspected of mass forgery of Adidas, Nike and Reebok shoes, reports the Ministry of Finance.
"The man, born in 1982, was producing fake sports shoes causing 19 mln tenge damage to Adidas AG (Germany) and Adidas International Marketing BV (the Netherlands)," reads the message.
800 pairs of trainers have been withdrawn.
Criminal case was opened under p.1 Art. 222 (illegal use of a trademark).
