Kazakhstan commissioned 2.6% more housing in January-March

Astana. April 16. KazTAG - Kazakhstan commissioned 2.6% more housing in January-March, reads the reports of the statistics agency.
“In January-March 2024, the total area of housing commissioned in Kazakhstan increased by 2.6% and amounted to 3.5 million sq.m., of which in multi-apartment residential buildings - by 12.9% (2.3 million sq.m. m). The total area of individual houses put into operation decreased by 12% (1.2 million sq.m.),” reads the report.
In the total volume of commissioned housing, the share of apartment buildings was 65.2%, individual buildings – 34.2%. The average actual cost of construction of 1 sq.m of total housing area increased by 3.7%.
In January-March 2024, the volume of construction work increased by 15.9% and amounted to T856 billion.
According to statistical data, the following were put into operation: general education schools - 12, preschool organizations - 12, outpatient clinics - 11.
