Kazakhstan plans to increase export supplies to Afghanistan

Astana. April 26. KazTAG –  Kazakhstan plans to increase export supplies to Afghanistan through Beyneu terminal, reports the press service of the government of Kazakhstan.
“As part of the meeting between Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin and Deputy Prime Minister of Afghanistan Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Kazakh side proposed to consider the capacity of the Beyneu terminal to increase the volume of supplies of Kazakh grain and flour to Afghanistan,” reads the statement.
The Beineu terminal is located on the territory of the Mangystau region, with direct access to the Kazakh-Turkmen border. The terminal has all the necessary production infrastructure and is capable of performing the functions of an overland transshipment storage terminal for further transportation of products for export.
