Number of centenarians reached 487 people in Kazakhstan

Astana. September 30. KazTAG - The number of centenarians has reached almost 500 people in Kazakhstan, reports the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Kazakhstan.
“There are 487 citizens aged 100 and over in Kazakhstan. The oldest Kazakh citizen lives in the Turkestan region, he has already celebrated his 121st birthday,” said the report.
According to statistics, there are 75 people aged 100 years and older in the Turkestan region. 62 people live in Almaty, 55 people live in the Almaty region.
Three oldest Kazakhstani people are the residents of the Turkestan region - 121 years old, Shymkent - 120 years old, Zhambyl region - 119 years old.
