Over 800 mln tenge allocated for reconstruction of Alakol coastline in 2018 in East Kazakhstan region

Ust-Kamenogorsk. April 23. KazTAG - Over 800 mln tenge have been allocated in the East Kazakhstan region for reconstruction of Alakol coastline in 2018, said Symbat Ramazanov, director of tourist information center of the East Kazakhsatn region.
"Big work has been done to improve the conditions for tourists arriving to the lake. Last year 500 mln tenge of budget funds were invested into reconstruction and accomplishment of the coastline. This year 817mln tenge have been allocated," he said.
In his words, scientific research of water properties has started in the Alakol.
“27 types of microelements and content of radon were discovered in the water last year. The research will continue this year as people may come for treatment not only in July and August, but before and after the swimming season after treatment procedures become available in the resorts," he said.
