People in Kazakhstan plan to buy back less than half of placed KMG shares - Satkaliyev

Astana. December 6. KazTAG – Kazakhstani people are going to buy back less than half of the placed shares of NC KazMunayGas (KMG) JSC, said  Almasadam Satkaliyev , Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund JSC.
“The total number of applications received from citizens of Kazakhstan amounted to 128.7 thousand for a total amount of KZT74.6 billion,” Satkaliyev said, making a report on the implementation of the Comprehensive Privatization Plan for 2021-2025.
According to him, applications from Kazakhstanis did not reach half of the share buyback amount - 48.5%.
