Kazakhstan resumes regular passenger flights with Vietnam

Astana. August 9. KazTAG - Kazakhstan is going to resume regular passenger flights with Vietnam, reports the press service of.
“The Civil Aviation Committee, together with the aviation authorities of the socialist Republic of Vietnam, is working to resume regular passenger flights between Kazakhstan and Vietnam. Thus, the largest Vietnamese airline Vietjet Air plans to start operating regular passenger flights on the routes Cam Ranh - Nur-Sultan and Cam Ranh - Almaty with a frequency of two or three times a week, starting from the end of September on Airbus A-330 type aircraft,” said the report.
"The resumption of air communication between Kazakhstan and Vietnam will accelerate the development of trade, economic, investment, tourism and cultural cooperation between the countries,” said the report.
“Vietjet Air is Vietnam's low-cost carrier. The airline began operating flights in 2007. It operates international flights to 10 countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia, Taiwan, South Korea, China, Japan and India) on more than 19 routes. There are 78 Airbus A320, A321, A321neo, A330 aircraft in the airline's fleet,” said the message.
