61% of interrogated people in Kazakhstan are dissatisfied with system of protection of consumers' rights

Astana. February 28. KazTAG - 61% of interrogated people in Kazakhstan are dissatisfied with the system for protection of consumers' rights, indicated the concept of state program for development of trade in 2021-2025.
"The analysis of sociological research shows that more than half of the population (61%) is dissatisfied with the current system for protection of consumers' rights. According to the responders, the main share of poor quality goods falls on the imported products- 86%," said the report.
In the context of food and non-food products, the largest number of poor quality goods falls on meat products, fish , fish products, and dairy products. Among non-food products in this category are clothing and shoes.
“69% of the total number of consumer appeals falls on the financial services sector. At the same time, a large number of requests were related to the provision of trade and medical services," reads the report.
