80% of all schoolchildren infected with coronavirus in North Kazakhstan region got sick in the second quarter

Petropavlovsk. December 3. KazTAG - 80% of all schoolchildren infected with the coronavirus in the North Kazakhstan region fell ill with COVID-19 in the second quarter.
"Since the beginning of the school year, 199 schoolchildren have fallen ill, including 159 in the second quarter. 75 of them studied in the regular mode, and 84 in distance," said Arman Kushbasov, acting head of the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control.
Three secondary schools and 28 classes have been transferred to distance learning.
“Mostly schoolchildren got infected from contact with their parents. There have been no mass infections in schools, ”Kushbasov said.
