95% share in business of Musabayeva’s husband sold for 741 thousand tenge in time of her arrest in Almaty

Almaty. January 27. KazTAG - 95% share in Algabas Development ltd which belonged to Viktor Morozov- husband of Gulnara Musabayeva was sold for 741 thousand tenge in the time when she was under arrest in Almaty.
"I spent 10 months in prison, when I was set free, I found out that 95% of business of my husband was sold for 741 thousand tenge. It was sold through the electronic auction by one private bailiff. The company has 131 land areas. People acquired Morozov's stake for about $2000," she said.
She said the bargain was illegal.
"Now we have litigations," she added.
She declared political context in the criminal prosecution in her respect.
Gulnara Musabayeva was taken to pre-trial detention facility charged embezzlement on a large scale on December 10 2018, she was released on October 3. A criminal case was opened in 2016 against “Kazkommertsbank” on the fact of illegal issuance of a deliberately irrevocable loan. As a result, Kazkommertsbank officials evaded responsibility. One of the defendants was Nina Zhusupova, who now lives in Switzerland. Algabas Development LLP, which allegedly received the money, was declared guilty. The loan was issued for the construction of a traffic intersection at Seyfullin - al-Farabi and Seyfullin - Timiryazev. The loan amount was recovered from Algabas Development LLP with all interest rates. Gulnara Musabayeva, who was not an official in this company, was brought to justice.
