“About 70,000 Russian citizens have received an IIN since September 21. Our task is to assign an IIN to Russian citizens, for us, as a country, it is important to record their stay, violations, registration. When we assign them a number, we actually identify them in all databases,” Musin said on the sidelines of the government.
He added that the state did not pay for sending IIN to Russians, these costs are covered by operators.
