Activists arrested after mass detentions in Almaty went on hunger strike

Almaty. July 12. KazTAG - The activists arrested after mass detentions in Almaty have been on a hunger strike for the second day, reports Radio Azattyq.
“Civil activists from Nur-Sultan Kanat Turdaliyev and Anuar Daniyarov, who are serving an administrative arrest in a special detention center in Almaty  were accused of participating in the“ illegal protest action" on July 6, they went on a hunger strike”, reads the statement.
Turdaliyev and Daniyarov have not been eating for two days expressing their protest against the rulings issued by the administrative court.
“Supporters of the activists gathered near the gates of the detention center in order to express their support  and hand over bottled water to them,” reads the report.
