"In compliance with the order of Sadvakas Baigabulov, chief state sanitary doctor for transport, all the regular passenger flights in the international airport of Almaty will be suspended from April 1 at 00.00, including evacuation flights. The measure will prevent further spread of COVID-19 in Almaty. All the international flights scheduled to Almaty will be redirected to the international airports of other cities of Kazakhstan," reads the statement.
