Akim of Baikonyr district taken to pre-trial detention facility in Astana - source

Astana. January 21. KazTAG - Askar Yesilov, akim of the Baikonyr district of Astana has been detained and taken to pre-trial detention facility, said a source.
"Askar Yesilov, akim of the Baikonyr district of Nur-Sultan has been detained. He is in pre-trial detention facility now," said a source.
Askar Yesilov was appointed as akim of Baikonyr district in April 2019. Prior to the appointment he worked as akim of the Almaty district in Nur-Sultan (April 2018-April- 2019).
