"Due to forecasted precipitations, unstable state of the snow cover on the mountain slopes in the Ulken Almaty and Kishi Almaty river basins there is a danger of avalanches oт February 17-18," reads the report.
Rescuers recommend postponing the trips to the mountains and avoid walking on steep snow-covered slopes due to possible provocation of avalanches.
“We urge car owners not to park vehicles under trees,” said the report.
