Bek Air parametric recorder transferred to experts of Netherlands - IAC

Almaty. January 14. KazTAG - Deciphering of the flight recorders of Fokker-100 aircraft of the Bek Air airline, which crashed in Almaty suburbs on December 27, was performed by the scientific and technical center of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), the agency reports.
"The data of the flight recorders were decoded (sound and parametric) at the IAC Research and Technology Center. All information was transferred to the (government - KazTAG) commission of inquiry. A preliminary analysis of this information allowed restoring the chronology of events and determining the priority version of the causes of the accident. This information was declared to the public by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan during a press conference with the IAC participation . (...) In accordance with the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) - Appendix 13 to the Chicago Convention - an authorized representative and advisers of the state of the developer and manufacturer of the aircraft (the Netherlands) are involved in the investigation. The record of the parametric recorder has been handed over to the authorized representative of the Netherlands, ” reads the statement.
The committee also said that mathematical modeling of the flight has started.
“According to the decision of the commission of inquiry, the IAC, together with the specialists from the Netherlands, Kazakhstan and EASA, have initiated mathematical modeling of the flight in order to establish the actual aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft during emergency take-off and the influence of external factors on them ," said the message.
