"Blind" recension of textbooks to be introduced in Kazakhstan

Astana. October 21. KazTAG - "Blind" recension of textbooks will be introduced in Kazakhstan, reports the Ministry of Education and Science.
"In order to improve the quality of textbooks the Ministry of Education and Science is working on improvement of quality and update of the mechanism of expertise of textbooks. Authors and experts will be trained, there will be "blind" recension of textbooks, certification of experts," said Askhat Aimagambetov, Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan.
According to the Minister, the layout of the textbooks will be discussed with the society.
"We have changed our approach to development and expertise of textbooks. Layout of the textbooks is discussed with teaching community and experts throughout the regions. The expertise will be posted in the open portal," he said.
In his words, the electronic versions of the textbooks for 1-10 grades have been posted in EPUB format on September 1 and schoolchildren can use them in the electronic format.
"Blind" recension is a method  when the names of reviewers are hidden from the author( single) or when both the author and the reviewer are anonymous (double).
