"As for the bridge construction over the Bukhtarma bridge, I can say that until the end of April the financing from the republican budget will be specified. According to design and estimate studies the project is valued 32 bn tenge," said Daniyal Akhmetov, akim of the East Kazakhstan region.
In his words, funding is planned in the local budget for a tender among the contractor companies.
As it was reported, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, assigned the Government and akimat of the East Kazakhstan region to consider allocation of funding for the bridge construction on September 19 2019. He said the inhabitants of Kurchumskiy district have to travel by an old ferry.
