Drivers of cars with foreign plates gathered at meetings in Atyrau and Almaty

Almaty. January 20. KazTAG - The drivers of cars with Armenian, Russian and Kyrgyzstan plates gathered at the protest actions in Atyrau and Almaty.
"You say that you know the laws. Why don't the customers perform it? They said that the regulations will come into force from 2020, why do customers let these cars from Armenia and Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan? We work as taxi drivers and earn money. You claim us to pay for re-registration of these cars," said a participant of the protest action in Atyrau.
The protesters addressed to Nursultan Nazarbayev.
"We ask Yelbasy to let us drive the cars with Armenian and Kyrgyz plates which are in the country now. We do not refuse from paying the insurance and other fares, but we ask to let us use these cars until their full wear. Or we ask the authorities to re-register these cars," said the protestors.
