Entrepreneurs should focus on business modernization- Tokayev

“Over the past five years, the share of small and medium-sized enterprises in the country's economy has increased from 24% to 32%. The number of people employed in entrepreneurship increased by 21% from 2.8 million to 3.4 million. Today, about 40% of the employed people work in small and medium-sized businesses. The National Chamber, which unites the state and business, made a great contribution to this," he said.
He pointed out that Atameken has been successfully protecting the rights and legitimate interests of business, it also actively participates in the implementation of state policy to support entrepreneurship. The President believes that today there is every reason to say that entrepreneurship has become the driving force in the economy of Kazakhstan.
