Ex-vice minister of culture and sports appointed as deputy akim of Almaty

Almaty. August 19. KazTAG - Yerlan Kozhagapanov has been appointed as a deputy akim of Almaty, reports the press-service of akim of Almaty.
"By the order of akim of Almaty under coordination with the presidential office Yerlan Kozhagapanov has been appointed as a deputy akim of the city. He replaced Yerlan Aukenov who resigned on his own wish," reads the message.
Kozhagapanov worked as a vice minister of culture and sports from 2017, in 2016-2017 he worked as an advisor to the prime minister, in 2013-2016 he headed the agency for sports affairs and physical culture of Kazakhstan, he worked as a president of the Football Federation of Kazakhstan.
