Financial market experts named main obstacles to business development in Kazakhstan

Almaty. February  24. KazTAG - Business is hampered by low access to sales markets, financial and personnel problems and the business itself, writes the Beige Book of Kazakhstan.
“There was a sharp increase in the assessment of the ability to increase production volumes at existing capacities in November-December. This is partly hindered by the fact that access to sales markets and the situation with product sales are not improving: they remained approximately at the same level throughout the second half of 2020, although during this time many quarantine restrictions (which are one of the main obstacles to development) were removed. At the same time, cases of unfair competition from importers and domestic producers have become more frequent, ”reads the Beige Book of Kazakhstan.
According to the document, the whole II half of 2020 hinders the development of business and the deterioration of its current financial situation. The business has fewer opportunities for investment, although they are still in demand. However, in general, entrepreneurs' confidence in improving their financial condition is growing, including due to the rise in prices for their goods and services.
The publication marks the problem of staffing, the quality of the workforce is declining, and it becomes more difficult to find new employees, moreover, not only administrators and managers, but also ordinary employees.
