“We have discussed the events of Kazakh culture in Azerbaijan. From 25 to 28 April this year, we are going to organize a number of events in Baku, including a gala concert of leading Kazakh performers, a performance by the Kazakh State Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy, an exhibition of our arts and crafts and the days of Kazakh cinema,” said Minister Askhat Oralov at a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan Agalar Atamoglanov.
The agency notes that Azeri people are interested in Kazakh art. Atamoglanov declared his readiness to organize concerts of the ethno-ensemble "Turan" and the folk dance ensemble "Kazyna" in Baku.
“We discussed the possibility of implementing joint cinematographic projects. Last year, several of our films were screened in Baku, and now we want to work out the issue of shooting joint films and other options for cooperation in the film industry. We have discussed the sports. For example, about holding joint competitions and participation of athletes from Azerbaijan in Kazakhstani tournaments and vice versa,” he said.
