Health Ministry of Kazakhstan canceled allowances for doctors working in Covid zones - Majilis

Astana. October 28. KazTAG - Allowances for medical workers working in the Covid zones have been cancelled since October 1, 2021, said Maksat Ramankulov, deputy of the Ak Zhol Majilis faction.
"Less than a year later, in August, these allowances (for work in the Covid zones of institutions - KazTAG) were halved, and since October 1 they were cancelled completely," Ramankulov said.
According to him, the Ministry of Health explained that instead of premiums, additional payments will be introduced for doctors and nurses in 7 specialities and three degrees of risk. However, health workers still do not know what additional payments they will get.
“Doctors say that decisions of many of them on further work in health care or on leaving the profession depend on this,”  he added.
