“It's not normal when the branches of the Nur-Otan party are headed by akims everywhere. The head of the region must serve for all people, and not the narrow interests of officials," he said.
As the deputy noted, "they say that the Nur-Otan party has 1 million members."
“But the population of the country is 19 million. And if the akims support only their own people, then who will the rest of 18 million hope for? We need to get away from this practice, maybe even prohibit akims from heading branches of the ruling party. Let them serve for all the people, not the government," he added.
