Kazakhstan approves draft agreement on joint use of +7 telephone code with Russia

Astana. October 31. KazTAG – Kazakhstan has approved a draft agreement on joint use of +7 telephone code with Russia.
“Approve the attached draft agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Russian Federation on joint use of the 7th zone of world numbering,” reads the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kazakhstan.
The following code ranges are assigned exclusively to Russia: 200–299, 300–399, 400–499, 500–599, 810–818, 820–821, 831, 833–836, 840–848, 850–851, 855–857, 860–863, 865–867, 869 and 871–873, 877–880, 900–999.
The following code ranges are intended to be assigned exclusively to Kazakhstan: 000–099, 600–699 and 700–799.
The following ranges are planned to be assigned jointly to Kazakhstan and Russia: codes: 100 – 199, 800 – 809 and 881 – 899.
