Kazakhstan purchased Chinese insulin that has not passed clinical trials - MP

Astana. March 19. KazTAG - Kazakhstan purchased Chinese insulin, which has not yet passed clinical trials, said Guldara Nurumova ,Majilis deputy.
“But we purchased Chinese insulin, which has not yet passed clinical trials. There is not much difference in price. Only two countries in the world purchased it: Kazakhstan and Latin American country,” Nurumova said at a meeting of Majilis deputies with Health Minister Akmaral Alnazarova on Monday.
According to her, the effectiveness of this insulin is not yet known. Doctors and patients are outraged.
“Insulin Degludec is the only ultra-long-acting insulin produced in Europe. Indicated for children from one year of birth. It was registered in Kazakhstan in 2014 and entered the GVFMC in 2023. Patients here are really looking forward to it, but for some reason they still don’t receive it,” Nurumova said.
