Kazakhstan ratified agreement on trade-economic cooperation of EAEU and China

Astana. June 26. KazTAG - Kazakhstan has ratified the agreement on trade-economic cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) with China, reads the law.
"Ratify the agreement on trade-economic cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states from one side, and China from another side concluded in Astana on May 17 2018," reads the document.
The law was signed by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, on June 13.
The document was approved by the Parliament of Kazakhstan on May 30. According to Ruslan Dalenov, Minister of National Economy, "the agreement will create conditions for improvement of mutual trade between EAEU member states and China. In his words, the agreement does not provide cancellation or reduction of tariffs in the mutual trade. The agreement will facilitate the procedure of technical regulation, sanitary and phyto-sanitary measures, applied in mutual trade".
