Kazakhstan's Parliament ratifies agreement with China on construction of dike

Astana. June 21. KazTAG - Senate deputies have adopted the law "On agreement ratification between the Government of Kazakhstan and representation of China's People's Republic on cooperation for construction of joint flood protective dike Chukurbulak at the Khorgos river".
"The dike will be a common property of the states. The construction financing will be solidary - 50% of the total cost," the message reports.
"In order to coordinate work for the dike construction Kazakhstani-Chinese committee for dike construction will be created which will include representatives of authorized bodies and organizations from each side," reads the message.
